School Week 4 - Letter D

Review verse: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." - Luke 6:31
Memory verse: "Do everything without complaining or arguing." - Philippians 2:14

     We sang our Dexter Donkey song and found all of the "D" items on our poster.

We read some "D" books.

We learned about the Dentist and read a story about Button Bear visiting the Dentist.

These Dinosaur Counting Practice sheets and numbers came from Confessions of a Homeschooler.  The kids took turns counting the Dinosaurs and putting the correct number in the square.

And last, but certainly not least, I finally got around to drawing a coconut tree on poster board and hanging it on our wall so that we can read Chicka Chicka ABC and hang up our letter of the week.  I'm obviously not an artist, but the kids were super impressed!  I got this idea and the letters from Confessions of a Homeschooler.
